Director of Pharmacy Services, William Blair, Pharm.D.,
MBA To Meet Legislators in Washington, DC
On June 23-25, 2002 our Director of Pharmacy
Services, William Blair, Pharm.D., MBA, will join fellow community
pharmacists in Washington D.C. for the International Academy of Compounding
Pharmacist’s (IACP) Annual Meeting & Compounders on Capitol Hill 2002.
Compounding pharmacists from across the country will participate in this
time-honored democratic tradition of having their voices heard in the
hallowed halls of Congress.
Compounders on
Capitol Hill has expanded to a three-day format to offer attendees new and
improved CE programs, more networking opportunities with fellow compounders,
and numerous question and answer sessions.
This year IACP
has a Sponsorship Hall with up to 20 vendor booths to visit.
In the absence of
federal law that provides a statutory basis for the compounding practice,
IACP's presence on Capitol Hill has never been more important in this time
of uncertainty.
