McGuff Compounding Pharmacy Services, Inc. joined the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists (IACP) when we first opened our doors for business. McGuff Compounding Pharmacy Services, Inc. (McGuff CPS) recognized then, and continues to recognize today, the importance of IACP as the professional organization that promotes the interests of compounding pharmacists on a national and state basis.
IACP represents more than 1,800 pharmacists, physicians, technicians and patients who are committed to practicing quality pharmacy compounding. The values of McGuff CPS and IACP are closely aligned.
The Food and Drug Administration, the U.S. Supreme Court, Congress, and virtually every major association of healthcare professionals have recognized the value of compounding pharmacists. IACP is an organization that has a record of fighting to protect, promote and advance the art and skill of the compounding pharmacy profession.

- Having IACP serve as a leading member of the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB). PCAB has set national standards that pharmacies have to meet to obtain accreditation. The process ensures that pharmacies from coast to coast have in place sound practices, processes, facilities, equipment and personnel to prepare compounded medications for their patients.
- McGuff CPS was one of the first pharmacies to be PCAB accredited and has benefited from IACP’s leadership.
